Affiliate Disclosure

What that means

The Check live prices buttons on our property, city and category pages are affiliate links. They open a price and availability search at a booking partner via Travelpayouts, the affiliate network that connects us to that partner. If you go on to book, the partner pays us a small commission.

You never pay more because of it. The price you are shown is the partner’s own price — our commission comes out of their margin, not your booking.

What it does not affect

• Rankings. Listings are ordered by guest rating and review volume. No property can pay to rank higher, and we earn the same commission whichever property you book.
• Which properties we list. Our directory is built from open data (OpenStreetMap, Foursquare OS Places, Wikidata) plus our own enrichment. Properties are included on merit, not on whether they are bookable through a partner.
• Ratings and review content. These come from the underlying data sources and from visitors to this site. We do not adjust them.

Direct links stay free

Where we know a property’s own website or booking engine, we link to it as well — the Book direct and Visit website buttons. Those are not affiliate links and earn us nothing. We show them because booking direct is often the better deal, and we would rather be useful than squeeze every click.

How to spot them

Every affiliate link on this site is marked rel="sponsored" in the page source, opens in a new tab, and sits next to a short note pointing here.

Cookies and data

Clicking an affiliate link hands you over to Travelpayouts and then to the booking partner, who will set their own cookies to attribute the referral. That happens on their sites, under their policies — see our Privacy & Cookie Policy for what we do on ours.
