Where to Rest sets only strictly necessary cookies of its own — used to keep you signed in when you choose to log in. We run no display advertising and no analytics that profile you. Maps are served by OpenStreetMap and do not set tracking cookies.

Affiliate partners

The site is funded by affiliate commission, so two third parties are involved — see our Affiliate Disclosure for the commercial side:

• Travelpayouts (the affiliate network) loads a small script on every page from tp-em.com. It exists to attribute referrals to our account and may store an identifier in your browser.
• The booking partner. If you click Check live prices, you leave this site and the partner sets its own cookies to credit the referral. That happens on their site, under their policy.

Neither is used by us to build a profile of you, and we receive no personal data back from them — only aggregate click and booking counts.

The data we collect

• Your email address, if you sign in or subscribe — used to send your sign-in link and, if you opt in, occasional updates about new properties.
• Reviews and any details you submit about a property.
• Nothing about your location is stored — the “near me” feature reads your device location in the browser only and never sends it to us.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any email, or by contacting us. You can ask us to delete your account and data. We never sell your data.
