Predrug and his wife couldn't do enough for us, even giving us figs from their garden. So helpful and friendly. Lovely little touches. We felt very very welcome. They found out about bike hire for us, offered to drive us to the big Pula supermarket, etc etc. Although there is a very good supermarket just 100 yards down the road. We were a little worried about a "pebble" beach but it wasn't a problem. Lots of benches and places to sit or ly down. Sea warm and clear but take waterproof beach shoes! I think we were the only English people there. Most go to Dubrovnik and Split. But Fazana is relatively unknown to the British. It's a little undiscovered gem, beautiful in September when the kids have gone back to school. And get this, it's about a 2 hour flight from Manchester. What more could you ask for? Definitely will return next September.
