The host was extremely nice and welcoming. The room was a nice size with great views down the streets in addition to the views from the shared roof terrace. However, the bathroom was actually across the shared hallway from the room; this combined with the fact the bathroom was too small to get changed in made for an interesting showering experience. The clendliness of the room and bathroom were also to be desired, with a moderate amount of hair on the bed. Overall the place is dated and tired, which is unfortunate due to its prime location and amazing host. I would both recommend and not recommend this place. For the price, its okay, but if i had better know the bathroom situation and overall condition of the room, id have spent more elsewhere unfortunately. If you know you're going for a hostel experience then for the price it's great.
