Had a wonderful stay at Sukoon : A Lahauli Treat. The hotel truly lives up to its name — peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful mountain views. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was fresh and delicious, and the hospitality of the staff made us feel at home, just a little off road so you will not find any shops or resturant near by. Perfect place to relax while exploring Sissu and Lahaul. There were some bugs due to rain , but they were cleaned by the staff. Staff provided warm water in every room which is highly appreciated.Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a calm mountain stay.

One word that can perfectly describe this place happens to be its name that is Sukoon that feeling instantly kick in as you walk into their homesay. I emphasise its home stay because the family maintaining it. A local lahauli spirit and provides the warm feeling throughout our stay. Amenities and the feel that that you can that you expect when you want to go somewhere out of your comfort zone, that happens to be your home. So it can be another home. The views are mesmerising. Can you can directly see the snow cap Mountains and gondola fort view. The prime speciality of the place happens to be the dog. They have Joey, very sweet and humble laborror and the Uncle Amarchandji has really maintained their property really well. The rooms are equiped with all the facilities like lightings. Heaters, washrooms, gysers are attached and there are terrace attached to each and every room, You can use the room and as well as the balcony to have the look at the amazing nature out there.

Just like the name suggests, the place is exactly that… Sukoon. The rooms are warm, clean and spacious. The location is isolated and peaceful. You wake up to the majestic site of Shikhar beh every morning. The food is wholesome, home cooked and impeccable. And NONE of this is even the best part of the stay. The best part of the stay is hands down the hosts and their warmth. It was almost like a second home. We were supposed to stay there for 2 nights but stayed for 4 just because of these folks ( including our furry host). I am definitely coming back to this place every time in there.
