"I absolutely loved my stay at Cliff and Coral in North Cliff! The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I had a very nice experience here. The property is in walkable distance to the North Cliff. This property is mainly focusing youngsters. They will not allow people who are less than the age of 18 and over the age of 40. It is to protect the privacy of youngsters and make them comfortable. The property is handled by young people as well. The property is safe and have a decorum of their own. The rooms are well maintained and some have balcony as well.

The location is very nice and the terrace has a beautiful view of the beach. The stay manager Nandu, was very helpful. It was a busy weekend and no scooters were available for rent. He still managed to arrange one for me, which I really appreciated. The place is nice but there is scope for improvement in terms of amenities especially mirrors with better lighting. Overall it was a comfortable stay, would recommend!

Cons: 1. No direct acess, you need to walk on broken path and gravel for quite a bit. Very hard to bring heavy suitcases in. 2. The shared dorms are very small and feel congested. Non of the beds had curtains so there is absolutely no privacy. The socket next to the bed was not working 3. The drinking water had a very bad taste. It had almost a metallic taste in it. 4. There is no hostel parking. If you rent a scooty you will need to park at a temple area where they will charge you to park. You can't park on the road as it's too narrow just enough for 1 car to go through. Pros: 1. Location is great, the market is right next to the hostel so you have a lot of options for eating and shopping. 2. You will have a good view of the beach from the roof

Had an amazing 3-day stay at Cliff and Coral in Varkala once again! This was my second time staying here, and the experience was just as good as before. The place is very clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. A special mention to the host, Jeevan, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. He’s great at helping guests connect with new people, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Varkala definitely a place I’d love to come back to again!

I checked in on weekday, So I got easy checkin, recommend you to book in advance only. Dorm rooms were near and clean, washroom is also good size and clean. Best part is close to the cliff & beach. Rooftop view is amazing. Recommended place to stay with friends and partner. Only bike can come inside from a very narrow path... It's better to park your bike behind were the Google location ends up. Near the temple and you can walk from there 2 mins.

Volunteering at Cliff & Coral Hostel was such a wonderful experience. The hostel has a relaxed and friendly vibe, with clean spaces, great energy, and amazing people. One of my favorite parts was the food — fresh, tasty, and something I genuinely looked forward to every day. It’s a great place to meet backpackers, enjoy the beach lifestyle, and experience Varkala in a fun way. Would highly recommend both staying and volunteering here.
