Loved my stay at Haust Varkala! ​The hostel has a really nice green space, the beds and blankets are perfect, and the bathrooms are super clean and well-maintained. ​What made the stay even better was the hospitality. The manager, Gowtham, made extra efforts to make us feel right at home, and kudos to the volunteer, Ashmi, for doing a wonderful job! I’d highly recommend everyone to experience Haust at least once during their Varkala trip. Cheers!

Hi, I'm Janani, and I had a wonderful stay at Haust during my solo trip to Varkala. Booking Haust was honestly one of the best decisions I made during my trip. The dorm stay was affordable, comfortable, and perfect for solo travelers. The hostel provided basic kitchen facilities, and the AC worked great throughout my stay. One thing I really loved was the location. It's very close to North Cliff, where all the nightlife, cafes, music, and activities happen. After spending time at North Cliff, I even enjoyed a late-night walk back to the hostel. The streets felt peaceful at the same time, and those midnight walk became one of my favorite memory from the trip. The washroom was clean, neat, and hygienic, which I truly appreciated. I was fortunate to have amazing roommates, and what started as sharing a dorm with strangers quickly turned into making new friends and unforgettable memories. I spent night playing games, chatting with fellow travelers, and enjoying the friendly atmosphere.

Good property surrounded by greenery , kitchen is available for cooking. I stayed here for 4 nights , Manager Gautham is very helpful and amazing, his friends Abhi and Hasir were also funny and kind . The hostel vibe was really amazing. Everyone is friendly, they even organised karaoke in the night. The auto uncle Biju was also really good, helped us find the places and food we wanted to try. He's really quick with pickup.

Hauste is undoubtedly one of the best places to stay in Varkala, with an ideal location that makes exploring the town incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. What truly sets Hauste apart is its amazing people—special thanks to Gautam and Prem, along with the cleaning staff and the owner, all of whom were exceptionally warm, friendly, and always willing to help. The hostel has a unique vibe, full of charm and character, making it much more than just a place to stay. Clean, aesthetically pleasing, and welcoming, Hauste adds a special touch to the entire Varkala experience. I’ll definitely be visiting Varkala again, and Hauste will always be my first choice. 🩷🩵

Took a private room for our stay. The location was really convenient. It was exactly in between north and south clifff and it was close to the center as well. The room was really well maintained and aesthetic. All the facilities were good as well. One of the most affordable ac rooms in the area. They have a chill common area with games and a really good crowd. The host and staff are really friendly, helpful and sweet. Amazing experience overall. Host also has contacts for bike rentals and kayaking which really helped
