Hostel Dubrovnik Budget Accommodation

I stayed here for 4 nights. The location is convenient and the host was responsive, but there are a few things future guests might want to know. The room is quite basic—functional but not particularly clean. The floor had noticeable dust, and the garbage bin wasn’t emptied daily. It wasn’t dirty enough to be uncomfortable, but definitely could use more attention to detail. One major issue was the heat. The room had no fan or air conditioning, and even at night, temperatures stayed above 30°C, making it hard to sleep. It would be a big improvement if the host could provide at least a fan, especially during the warmer months. Also, amenities like a microwave, washer, or air conditioning aren’t listed, but having access to them would make longer stays much more comfortable. Overall, it’s a decent budget option, but be prepared for the heat and minimal amenities.

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely stay here! The house is really charming, the rooms are clean and in good condition, and the owner, Ante, is super nice and helpful. He gave us a bunch of recommendations and tips for what to do around Dubrovnik and helped us print our bus tickets for our journey onwards. There is no aircon in the rooms but it is naturally quite cool. The pillows were oddly high but we just found some alternative ones to sleep on instead. The location is on one hand nice because it is in between the bus station, the old town, and the new port but on the other hand it is also quite far walking from all of those places and there is not a lot of restaurants around. Overall though it worked really well for us and had really good price-value for the area so would highly recommend!

Very lovely and helpful host. Nice clean room with shared kitchen and toilet which were both very clean. It's about a 20min walk into the old town or you can catch bus 3 or 8 from in front of the surpermarket tommys. Would recommend.
