Nepal Cottage House is in a very good location with a peaceful environment. However, these days, the behavior and way of speaking of one of the sisters working at the reception is not good, and many other staff members have also changed. Whenever I go to Kathmandu, I always stay at this hotel because it feels like my own home. But the last time I visited, the lady at the reception behaved as if saying, “Stay if you want, otherwise leave,” which made me return without staying. Earlier, it used to be an excellent hotel, but now it seems to have changed a lot. Before, everything was very good, but now I did not feel satisfied. If improvements are made in the coming days, the hotel itself is still good.

1 star is even too much for this hotel now. We have been regular customers for a long time, but after the management changed, the entire atmosphere and service became terrible. The management seems more focused on showing off the new receptionist instead of actually caring about customers and hospitality. The staff have no manners, no professionalism, and no idea how to treat loyal guests with respect. Very rude behavior and extremely disappointing service. It’s sad to see how badly this hotel has gone downhill. We will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel is located in great Location. Everything is great but management needs to tell hotel staff and workers to stop making noise outside the rooms. Need to train them to be quiet while walking or doing something outside. We don't want to hear their life story. Hotel also provided high quality drinking water in the rooms this was a very nice gesture and loved it. Over all Satisfied

The rooms are very average. After checking in we noticed the AC and TV weren't working, minibar and toiletries weren't refilled and there was no kettle in the room for hot water. Took them a while to solve the issues. The buffet breakfast was okay. Room cleaning is only available in the morning. One of the main issues we faced was that on the day of check out they had a water issue. We had no water in our toilet for more than an hour while we were about to check out and leave for the airport. It was very inconvenient and unacceptable.
